After receiving her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in business and public administration, Nancy Miller attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating in 1977.  Immediately upon graduation from law school, Mrs. Miller established her own law firm in her hometown of Clinton, Maryland.  At that time, Mrs. Miller was one of only a very few law firms in the state headed by a woman.

With thirty-four years of litigation experience, Mrs. Miller is an accomplished trial attorney.  She still practices law in the same office that she founded and currently concentrates her practice on personal injury law and estate and probate matters.  In addition to her private practice, Mrs. Miller was an Assistant Attorney General to the State of Maryland for 25 years.

Nancy Miller is admitted to practice law in the courts of Maryland and Washington, DC, including the Court of Appeals of Maryland, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

In 2006 and 2009, Mrs. Miller was honored by the Catholic Archdiocese of Washington, The Archdiocesan Legal Network, with awards for her pro bono volunteer work.  She is a lifelong resident of Prince George’s County, the granddaughter of BK Miller, who opened a country store in Clinton in 1913, and a graduate of Surrattsville High School. Nancy is the former president of the Prince George’s County Women’s Bar Association.
